Terms of Service

Welcome to CodePin. By downloading, accessing, or using the CodePin iOS application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use the app.

1. Use of the App

CodePin is a utility app for generating, scanning, and pinning QR codes to your iOS Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. You are solely responsible for the content, links, and text you encode into QR codes using our app. We do not monitor or verify the content you generate.

Live Activity availability, presentation, and behavior are also subject to iOS, device, and system limitations. CodePin currently supports one active CodePin Live Activity at a time, and starting a new pin may replace an existing one.

2. CodePin Pro & Subscriptions

CodePin offers a premium version, "CodePin Pro", which unlocks additional features such as enhanced Live Activity access, iCloud synchronization, advanced QR styling options, and HD export features.

• Billing: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• Management: You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your account settings on the App Store after purchase.
• Lifetime Purchase: A one-time lifetime unlock is also available, which provides permanent access to Pro features without recurring charges.

3. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the CodePin application (excluding user-generated content), including its design, source code, graphics, and interface (the "Paper Aesthetic" design language), are and will remain the exclusive property of the developer. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the application without prior written consent.

4. Limitation of Liability

CodePin is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the app will be completely free of errors or that its operations will be uninterrupted. In no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use or inability to use the app, including but not limited to damages caused by scanned malicious QR codes.

5. Disclaimer regarding Scanned Content

When you use the CodePin scanner, the app will decode the QR code and present the result. We do not verify the safety or legitimacy of any URLs or data contained in third-party QR codes. You access scanned links entirely at your own risk.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide reasonable notice prior to any new terms taking effect. Your continued use of the app after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
